As one of the most popular poker game variants, Texas Hold’em is a five-card community game where players have four rounds of betting with the best hand eventually winning. The main gameplay involves players and the dealer forming hands by combining their cards with the community cards, comparing their hands, and awarding bonuses based on the results and hand types.

With a choice of chip value from a minimum of 5, through 10, 20, 50 and 80, up to a max of 100 to suit first timers and high rollers alike, players place their bets and the game begins. In each round players can decide to place a bet on the ‘Ante’. When they do, an equivalent bet will be placed on the ‘Blind’.

Ultimate Texas Hold’em offers nine cards in total. Two cards each (the hole cards) are dealt face down to the dealer and the player and five community cards are placed face down in the centre of the table.

Players can see their hole cards immediately after receiving them, ready to choose their playing strategy but the clock is ticking and ten seconds is all they have to decide to ‘Check’ the community cards or up the ante with x3 or x4 bet. 

Click the Check button and the first three Community cards are revealed. Click Betx2 or re-click the Check button to reveal the final two community cards. When the five cards are all face up, the final choice is Fold or a x1 bet. Take too long and the time runs out: the Check action will automatically apply each time this happens.

Once the five community cards are revealed, the dealer shows his hand and the prize value will be awarded equal to the amounts of the Ante, Play and the Blind prize according to the winning hand odds. When the dealer does not have a Pair or better, the Ante bet is returned regardless of win or loss.

The Trips bonus wager is an optional bet in Ultimate Texas Hold’em but can only be wagered if the player has already placed the Ante. The object of the Trips bonus bet is to attain a hand with a three of a kind or better using the player's two cards and the five community cards. 

The payout of the bet is not related to the dealer's hand result but is based on whether the player has formed a specific card combination including Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Flush, Straight, Three/Four of a Kind or Full House. The values for these payout can be seen both on screen and in the paytable section of the rules.
