From Celebrity to Community: TaDa’s Strategy Behind Lucky Cerol 500
14 / 09 / 2026

As Brazil's iGaming market continues its rapid evolution, traditional advertising is beginning to face specific challenges from new regulations and, critically, how players discover and engage with casino games through streamer and creator communities.

For TaDa Gaming, this has brought a new layer to its glocalisation strategy across Latin America. Through its collaborations with content creators for celebrity co-branded games, the award-winning provider has developed opportunities to involve gaming communities in the creative process, building more products that feel authentic from the start and reinforcing its reputation for expert localisation.

Sean Liu, Director of Product Development, TaDa Gaming, shared her thoughts on the philosophy and process behind TaDa’s collaborations, following its successful launch with Fortune Yuri 500 and up to its latest iteration with Brazilian streaming icon, Cerol.

Brazil's Creator Economy is Changing Game Discovery

Brazil is home to one of the world's most vibrant gaming communities. Millions of players watch livestreams every day, following creators whose recommendations often carry more influence than traditional advertising.

Here, streamers have become the new trusted voices, helping audiences discover new games while creating ongoing conversations around gameplay, features and entertainment.

This reflects a wider shift as identified by Harvard Business Review, whereby leading brands increasingly treat customers as collaborators rather than audiences. Instead of one-way marketing campaigns, they build ongoing conversations that strengthen products and customer loyalty.

Forward-thinking companies who view customers as collaborators with whom they have conversations are seeing significant competitive advantages. Based on this concept, TaDa applied the principle to its celebrity co-branding development for Latin American markets, beginning with leading creator, Yuri Brida, in 2025.

Building on the Success of Fortune Yuri 500

Research into gaming communities in Brazil showed that livestream creators influence player behaviour because audiences perceive them as authentic participants rather than traditional advertisers, while exposure to livestream content can significantly increase subsequent gameplay and player engagement, highlighting the powerful role creators play within gaming ecosystems.

‘We first explored this approach through our collaboration with Brazilian streamer Yuri Brida, whose livestreams regularly attracted tens of thousands of viewers with our content generating millions of video views.’ Sean explains. ‘This introduced the TaDa brand to new audiences across Brazil. However, we also know that the actual slot gameplay must transcend the celebrity branding. While players may be encouraged to try a game by their favourite streamer, long-term retention success depends on the quality of the gameplay: and this means engaging mechanics, balanced mathematics and rewarding bonus features.’

The collaboration also reinforced TaDa's localisation strategy by creating a genuinely bespoke experience that reflected Yuri's community. The success of Fortune Yuri 500 demonstrated the potential of partnering with creators who have established, highly engaged audiences, laying the foundation for TaDa’s next evolution in creator collaborations with “Cerol”.

Why Cerol?

Lucio "Cerol" dos Santos is one of Brazil's most influential gaming personalities. A former professional Free Fire player, entrepreneur and co-founder of esports organisation Fluxo, Cerol has built one of the country's largest gaming communities, with millions of followers across YouTube and Instagram. His audience has grown over many years through competitive gaming, livestreaming and genuine interaction with fans.

For TaDa, those numbers were impressive but Cerol’s authenticity and credibility were the deciding factors. Cerol has earned the trust of his community by remaining authentic to gaming culture and understanding games. So, TaDa invited Cerol to become part of the creative conversation and Lucky Cerol 500 was born.

Community Creates Awareness and Gameplay Creates Loyalty

‘For us community is the beginning of the journey, so working alongside respected creators opens an ongoing dialogue between developer and player,’ says Sean. ‘Streams generate conversations and feedback so communities continue shaping future products long after launch.’

Some players may gravitate to Lucky Cerol 500 because they recognise the streamer behind it, but the reason they will continue playing is because the mechanics are entertaining, the volatility feels rewarding and the experience delivers sustained enjoyment.

Throughout development, Cerol contributed ideas around visual style, gameplay direction and the overall player experience. This ensured the finished product reflected Brazilian gaming culture. TaDa further enhanced the game with his “signatures” to deliver a game he was proud to stream: and his fans have responded to the authenticity of the experience.

Why Authenticity Matters

‘These ongoing collaborations have become a new competitive advantage for us across Latin America. As regulated gaming markets mature across Brazil and the wider region, audiences are becoming more discerning,’ Sean advises.

‘Players can quickly distinguish between a genuine collaboration and a commercial endorsement, so choosing the right creator matters as much as designing the right game. Cerol's community trusts him because gaming has always come first. That authenticity aligned naturally with TaDa's localisation strategy, which focuses on creating products that feel designed specifically for local audiences rather than adapted from global releases.’

Looking Ahead

The success of Fortune Yuri 500 and now Lucky Cerol 500 reflects a broader shift taking place across gaming.

Rather than influencers promoting products, creators are the new iGaming community leaders helping developers understand local audiences while giving players a voice in the games they play.

According to Sean, ‘at TaDa, we believe the best games are built with players, not just for them. Working with creators gives us a direct connection to the communities who will ultimately play our games, helping us better understand what they enjoy and what keeps them engaged. That ongoing conversation shapes better products, builds genuine trust and creates experiences that feel authentic from day one. In Brazil's fast-growing regulated gaming market, that may prove to be the most effective competitive advantage for us.’
