TaDa - Low Barrier/High Returns Magic with Fishing-Shooting
22 / 04 / 2025

If any casino operator were to be given three wishes for instant business success, at TaDa Gaming we believe our fishing-shooting game releases should be top of that wish list. Guaranteed to attract new audiences, restore churned players and engage across all demographics and with low entry and high ROI, what’s not to like? So, stop wishing and start reading, as Ray Lee, Director of Business Development, TaDa Gaming is ready with the answers on why successful operators are going fishing-shooting!

Fishing-shooting games are often compared to slots. From a player experience and business value standpoint, how do they differ?

Although both are RNG products, fishing-shooting games have no reels or paylines. The whole screen is the game - much like video gaming - with 2D and 3D cinematic animations for highly immersive gaming.

Our 20+ fishing-shooting games are more dynamic and interactive than many slot games as they require skill/decision making and offer challenges. Wins come from successfully hitting fish or creatures, each of which has a multiplier or triggers a bonus game, putting agency into players’ hands.

A key difference from slots and one that creates significant engagement is the multiplayer function in fishing-shooting, with up to four in one game . However the wins are distributed separately and this is something on which we get very positive feedback.

For operators, fishing-shooting games give unique differentiation and are a proven draw for diverse player demographics – especially those new to iGaming. Our research shows that those players switching up from video/console games start with these interactive games. Conversely, they also appeal to slot players as the betting mechanism is instantly recognisable. In slots, one spin = one bet and in fishing-shooting, each shot fired places the wager.

However, our research shows that it is not a binary either/or choice: players with knowledge of both slots and fishing-shooting games extend their screen time in the casino in order to play both.

Generally, fishing-shooting games enjoy longer rounds played of up to 55% per session over slots due to the multiple bonuses, in-game events and large cast of characters. This also creates higher spend levels per session and an average 10% uplift in both DAUs and engagement levels.

How do fishing-shooting games meet the preferences of diverse international markets, ensuring broad player appeal and operator success?

TaDa has chosen to be regulated through its licences from Malta, Greece, Sweden, Romania and the UK. We are certified across Brazil in line with all January 1 2025 regulations with other licence applications in hand. In addition, all our games undergo thorough RNG testing and accreditation by GLi, BMM, GA and Gaming Labs so they are safe, visibly fair and compliant with all market regulations regardless of location.

Additionally, localisation is a key issue for us. Not only do we ensure that our releases are culturally sensitive/appropriate for the jurisdiction through theme, design, colour or symbol choice but our translations - especially rules and game details - are idiomatic.

Adapting games for different markets such as modifying gameplay speed, on-screen information, character design and volatility settings can enhance player engagement in different markets. However, we also design our games to appeal to specific segments and nationalities. Fortune Zombie was deliberately designed for the U.S. market, with visual elements, bullet speed, and theme all tailored on our research into American culture and player preferences.

We actively work with our clients to enhance localisation. Through our strategy of partnering with key local/national operators, our skills and standards are constantly improved and this is reflected in all of our content and why it resonates so powerfully with players.

In this way, operators can be assured that all our products are fit for purpose, legally compliant and expertly localised leading to significant impact on attraction, engagement and retention.

What promotional efforts and planning have you carried out for fishing-shooting games to increase player awareness and engagement?

We launched our free to play tournament site, freeslotmatch.com, specifically for the Brazilian market. In addition to slots, providing fishing-shooting games here gives fair and accessible opportunities that mirror the excitement of real gaming but without any financial exposure. This also provides a straightforward and safe introduction to fishing-shooting games. Furthermore, implementing tournaments and leaderboard events allows players to compete for prizes, resulting in increased betting volumes, often by over 20%.

Providing entertainment but in safe play ways that enable players to test each game risk free has always been a priority for us. The success of our approach can be seen as we hit 10,000 player sign-ups within the first three months of launch. This means we will roll out this free to play concept across multiple other jurisdictions

We collaborate with influencers and streamers to demonstrate gameplay strategies and safe play practices. Accessible content on social media and streaming platforms not only showcases the games in an interactive way but also gathers user-generated feedback for continuous improvement.

The TaDa website also hosts a separate fishing-shooting section specifically to advise and explain these great products in multiple languages. Launched this April, it’s a fantastic resource and one that will be constantly updated.

Finally, we have a global roadshow strategy which sees us exhibiting at key events including the ICE; iGB L!VE, SBC and SiGMA shows. With a specific Experience Zone on our stands to introduce, explain and demonstrate how fishing-shooting games work, from where they originated and what they are bringing to the industry, we have enabled a better appreciation of our titles and reinforced our position as the No. 1 provider for fishing-shooting.

Can you elaborate on the integration process of fishing-shooting games into existing platforms? How does this process ensure minimal downtime and a swift go-to-market strategy?

It really is a very straightforward process and handled predominantly by us. We have made significant efforts to minimise complications and maximise effortless and seamless integrations through our single API, advanced technology, stable back-end and solid stack, so integrating our fishing-shooting games is not particularly complex.

The initial technical hurdle with fishing-shooting games lay in the challenge of synchronising the transaction system with the high-speed bullet-firing mechanism. From six years ago when the timing was around 30 seconds, we have now refined our technology to achieve 3-second settlements, providing precise tracking of each individual bullet. This entire process is handled by TaDa, requiring no adjustments from operators.

In this way, we ensure that we are able to integrate our portfolio APIs to the operator platforms, mobile apps and casinos; set up the payment gateways, initiate authentication; and conduct testing and compliance within a short timeframe. So, we make it easy and profitable to work with us, giving both speed to market and minimal downtime guaranteed.
