Scaling Fishing-Shooting Games for A Global Future

Leading titles Jackpot Fishing and Bombing Fishing have also shown strong performance across these same KPIs.

 

Part of this success can be attributed to TaDa’s understanding of how LatAm players prefer to receive their updates and recommendations. From February 2024/March 2025, 300+ local streamers across Latin-America live-streamed Mega Fishing, resulting in a 30% uplift in views plus a 95/100% redemption rate of one-click reward tool GiftCode, highlighting the synergy between player engagement and marketing value.

 

The exclusive launch of free-to-play tournament site, freeslotmatch.com, in Brazil was another data driven initiative for introducing fishing-shooting games to new markets. Giving players free social gaming in a risk free environment proved highly successful with 10,000 players registering within the first three months. Due to this impressive take up, the concept was further developed to give access to players in North America and subsequently went global April 2025.

 

Full Speed in the USA

 

TaDa is no stranger to hitting the ground running, so entering North America was carefully planned and executed for maximum impact in minimum timeframes. 

 

Fortune Zombie was created specifically for the US market. Taking the action to a classic American streetscape produced a combination of recognition, authenticity and action in a truly cinematic hit experience. From the avatar led tutorial to the multiple new features, innovation in weapons and power-ups, fantastical designs and multiple different ways to win, the research has paid dividends.

 

Within three months of launch, Fortune Zombie saw average bet volumes in excess of 1,000 Sweep coins, with a staggering 3,000+ average rounds per player. For comparison, in other markets, the top fishing-shooting release currently sees an average 1,300 rounds per player, making this instant acceptance by US players unprecedented even for TaDa’s high expectations.

 

‘We have been building excitement and awareness of Fortune Zombie at different trade shows. To further help our US partners, we also offer a dedicated website with all our US localised fishing-shooting titles as well as slots and crash. Those operators with limited exposure to fishing-shooting especially can enjoy an authentic experience first-hand whilst simultaneously testing all our games.’

 

Lucky Shooter is also designed specifically for new players in the US. Following the same global/localisation strategy, it offers clear and easy to follow rules and a simple tutorial at the beginning to familiarise players with the controls; and a wide selection of weapons for explosive gaming.

 

For North America, TaDa’s glocalisation approach goes beyond visuals and themes and is backed through partnerships with major sweepstakes platforms including NoLimitCoins, which is accessible in 40 states; and DARA Casinos, where players can access TaDa’s games in 44 states. With more partnerships in the pipeline, both access and fishing-shooting gameplay is on an upwards trajectory for players.

Cracking the Code in Europe

 

European iGaming is established and sophisticated, giving almost infinite player choice. Getting seen in this crowded market is not easy and it is testament to TaDa’s strategy that fishing-shooting is beginning to enjoy recognition.

 

Since launching its portfolio in Europe in 2023, TaDa has signed successful partnerships with aggregators and operators and is now seeing clients turn their attention to its fishing-shooting titles.

 

Again, research and feedback were the first steps into delivering this new vertical; and focus groups indicated that players in Europe favour strategic depth and agency within their gaming. Follow-on release, Ocean Hunter, was designed with very specific changes. From the tutorial and demo to the inclusion of a person within the game and a switch from cannon and ammo fire to a high speed net, this is a very different gaming experience from TaDa. 

 

Including the “Hunter” character gives a unique player perspective, while clicking/firing the net captures rather than “kills”. This mechanism also adds to the Energy Bar Accumulator providing free alternative weaponry and added value to the gameplay in line with our insights.’’
