TaDa Gaming - Getting Ready for SBC Lisbon 2025

New licences and certifications, new products, new team members and a dynamic and interactive Experience Zone for its unique fish-shooting games: we talk to TaDa Gaming’s Director of Business of Development, Ray Lee, about what else delegates can expect to find at Stand B610 this September.

With multiple licences including Malta, Greece, Romania, Sweden and most recently from the UKGC and now certifying your games for Portugal, how has your market adaptation experience been?

It’s a huge commitment – both time and money – but we’ve now turned our wide experience into a competitive edge.

Successfully preparing applications for so many different authorities has not only improved our business plans but we now have a form mental muscle memory. We know what the authorities or regulators are looking for so this improves our time to market as we build our compliance database.

However, certification is not just about filing paperwork, it’s critical that local understanding and know-how of the business environment, the market and the audience is shown and that’s where our glocalisation strategy comes into play.

This creates a win/win for us as we know we are providing content that resonates immediately with players, delivers the results for operators that facilitate partnerships and is 100% compliant with local regulations.

With all these factors in hand for market adaptation, TaDa’s Portuguese market entry will be swift and seamless so we are looking forward to attending SBC and creating positive opportunities for successful new partnership opportunities.

Which game types are most popular in Portugal and why?

When we began researching the Portuguese market last year, mobile slots accounted for 80.4% of online casino bets, with numbers rising. Preferred themes included fruit, candy and coin symbols and this has been supported by the feedback for our TriLuck™ slots 3 Coin Treasure and 3 Charge Buffalo alongside our new releases Joker Coins and Fortune Coins.

These new releases are part of our Hit the Cash series, so in addition to simple rules and exciting features like jackpots and Lock & Respin, there is an increasing multiplier bonus that really amps up the win potential.

Nostalgic themes and straightforward gameplay have huge appeal to players in Portugal – and many other jurisdictions – and the visual impact of the triple pots feature combo creates player expectation that is super appealing. Engagement though anticipation – it really is a big draw.

How do you handle localisation to maximise conversion in Portugal?

This is all about our successful glocalisation strategy, which is built on Global Mechanics, Local Know-How.

European Portuguese is different to Brazilian Portuguese and we have been careful to ensure that our new translations reflect this, along with clear responsible gaming messaging as legally required in Portugal, including helpline info and age restriction.

A player-centric UX across all our releases, which also includes determining payment and marketing channels which are then tailored to local preferences, is also localised to ensure we make the games easy to play from the first spin. This means that we deliver highly engaging content designed to turn casual players into loyal fans.

We are known for our RNG transparency through bmm, GLi and GA certification, companies which are the industry benchmarks for confirmed fair gaming. We have now certified nearly 40 titles in our portfolio for Portugal and we are mindful of all legal requirements

What product launches are you bringing to SBC Summit Lisbon to attract Portuguese operators?

We have a very strong portfolio of diverse games from slots, Crash, table and fish-shooting, all of which are enhanced by our gamification suite of GiftCode, WIN CARD, Must Hit By and Tournament

Our localisation is second to none, so all the titles we release to the Portuguese market will create resonance for long-term player life time value. Based on our data for slot preference, we will be showcasing Joker Coins, Fortune Coins and Devil Fire 2 as mentioned but we also are promoting Jackpot Joker

Jackpot Joker uses classic Joker imagery in a medium volatility slot with a max win of 15,000x. There are also four jackpots. A special win multiplier to 15x can not only trigger for every winning combination but can also be applied to the jackpots! Add in a matching symbols bonus Free Spin and the Extra Bet feature and this game is guaranteed to hit Portugal’s sweet spot.

Our releases all have polished graphics, great soundtracks and immersive themes so we are certain that operators who take the opportunity to play our expertly localised content will be impressed.

We will also have our on-stand Experience Zone. This showcases our fish-shooing titles, leading with Fortune Zombie and Ocean King Jackpot. The Experience Zone is always a huge draw for everyone to both play the games and understand the journey from fish table games in arcades and casinos to the impressive online titles we offer today.

We have our full teams from both Business Development and Account Management with us as SBC Lisbon is an important show in our calendar. There are also lots of competitions with prizes while people are waiting to play; so it really is worthwhile to put Stand B610 on your to-visit list.
